My Chocolate Chip Cookies

As I age, I noticed that whenever I need to plan or make a decision, I would go to my kitchen and start baking or cooking. I would open my food journal and cook or bake whatever recipe comes up.

For the past few days, I have been eyeing a business that I have always wanted to start. I already drafted the plan and other things that I need to get it running, but I can't seem to come up with a name for my small business. So, I went to the kitchen and open one of my journals. And tonight I baked my daughters' favorite, Chocolate Chip Cookie, and now I know what my business name is 😊.

And like any entrepreneur, I would like to first keep my business name private. However, I still want to share my recipe for my Chocolate Chip Cookies, the inspiration for my business name, I hope you'll try to make and share it with your family 🍪🥛;

Ingredients: ½ cup white sugar ½ cup brown sugar 1 ½ tsp salt 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla 2 ¼ cup all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 2 cups (300g) bittersweet chocolate chunks or chips

You can also use semi-sweet chocolate or white chocolate

Procedure:

Melt the butter and set it aside to cool
In a bowl, mix the white sugar and brown sugar, and salt
Add the melted butter
Mix until smooth
Add 2 eggs
Add the Vanilla
Mix until everything is well incorporated

Sift together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt
Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture
Mix until just combined, do not overwork the flour to avoid having a dry cookie
Add the chocolate chips
Mix gently until the chocolate chips are covered in the mixture
Chill for 5 to 10 minutes

Brush a baking tray with butter, or use wax or parchment paper
Get the chilled cookie mixture from the fridge
Use a big spoon or an ice cream scoop to scoop the cookie mixture into the baking tray
Put more chocolate chips on top of each cookie
Bake Cookies for 12 to 15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Farenheight

Cool cookies in a wire rack for 3 to 5 minutes
Enjoy with ice cream or milk 😀
