In these busy times, everyone needs great skincare that is easy to do (possibly at home), and not heavy on the budget. Especially the working moms and even young professional women. With all the house chores and work that we do, sometimes taking care of ourselves becomes the last on our priority list. Putting our family's needs, then the demands and expectations from work drain our energies, and the moisture from our skin.
Most moms would also suffer from self-guilt whenever they put themselves first. Buying new clothes and treating ourselves to a quick mani-pedi session, sometimes makes us feel so conscious and guilty that we can no longer enjoy the moment. That being said, finding a quick and easy to do at-home self-care routine, is the best remedy to avoid feeling guilty and still feel relaxed, beautiful, and rested even for a bit is a great solution for us, for us busy women.
Here are some ways and skincare that you can do to show yourself some self-love, and feel pampered and relaxed at home.
After soaking in the bathtub it's always good to exfoliate your skin.
Exfoliating: Finding a good facial and body scrub is on top of my list, exfoliating prevents acne and brightens skin. A good scrub improves our skin texture and skin tone. It removes dead skin cells and prevents our skin from being dull and dry. Also, a good body scrub helps our skin absorb those yummy skincare products that help us prevent premature aging, plus it also lessens dark spots and scars. A great facial scrub unclogs pores and exfoliates the skin. Finding a good facial scrub is very important, facial scrubs that are rich in salicylic acid, lactic, and glycolic acid, remove oil that clogs in the skin. . I love exfoliating at least 3 times a week, aside from it helps improve skin, it also feels luxurious and really relaxing. Facial scrubs and body scrub need not be expensive. You can find great products like St. Ives – Apricot Facial Scrub and RtopR – Exfoliating Whitening Scrub that you can use. These products are 100% Natural and Dermatologist tested.
I highly recommend Olay – Anti-Aging Moisturizer and AR Gluta – Collagen Cream. These moisturizers are rich in Vitamin E, Niacinamide which helps reduce acne marks, dark spots, wrinkles, freckles, and melasma. Also, they are very affordable and budget-friendly.
Tea is a well-known antioxidant and reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke. I also drink coffee in the morning, but when I really want to relax and give myself a break, I go for lavender and chamomile mint tea.
