Tofu is a great source of protein as it contains all 9-amino acids
that are necessary to our body.
It’s a great addition to your diet if you are transitioning from being a
meat-lover to a vegetarian and if you’d like to lose and maintain your weight.
Ingredients:
- 1 to 2 blocks of Firm Tofu
- 1 tsp. Flour
- 1 tsp. Garlic powder
- 1 tsp. Paprika,
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Pepper
- 1 tsp. Olive oil (optional)
Sauce / Dipping:
- 2 cloves minced garlic
-3 tbsp Mayo
- chopped parsley
- pinch salt and pepper
Direction:
- Combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt,
and pepper in a bowl.
( you can use Barbeque powder or add curry powder, it's totally
up to you)
- Separate a little amount of the spice powder for later
- Pat dry the tofu block with paper towels, get as much water out of the tofu
block
- Slice the tofu block to an inch sizes
- Double pat dry the sliced tofu to make sure that it's dry
- Toss the sliced tofu into the flour and spice mix bowl
- Tap off excess spice and put tofu in the air fryer basket
- Air fry tofu at 400° for 15 minutes, toss halfway to evenly cook the edges
- Get it back to the fryer for another 4 to 6 minutes, please note that cooking
time varies depending on the type of your air fryer.
- Put the fried tofu in a serving dish and sprinkle some more of the spice
powder
For the Dipping /Sauce:
- combine minced garlic and mayo together
- mix in salt and pepper and chopped parsley
- Serve and Enjoy
